Marketing Committee

Description

The Marketing Committee is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing strategies to promote CAWM, expand our reach, and grow the organization. The goal of the committee is to set a vision and manage the overall marketing strategy of the organization, with the aim to develop strategies that encourage present and future stakeholder involvement and investment in the organization.

Objectives

  1. Develop and recommend marketing tools and strategies to the CAWM Board of Directors that contribute to raising awareness of CAWM
  2. Propose an annual marketing strategy identifying priorities, timelines and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
  3. Review the previous year’s marketing activities
  4. Provide marketing guidance for CAWM events or activities
  5. Take a leadership role in developing innovative strategies to increase revenues and the profile of CAWM
  6. Lead an annual discussion on marketing strategies with the Board and conduct appropriate follow up actions.

Svea Brousseau - Committee Chair

RN, BSN

Svea was born in Behchokǫ̀, Northwest Territories and grew up in the Okanagan.

She is a Critical Care trained RN who works in both ICU and Emergency at Kelowna General Hospital, and enjoys rural contracts in Northern BC clinics and hospitals. Prior to nursing, Svea was a creative director and designer.

Svea is passionate about nature, hiking, backcountry skiing, and traveling.
