CAWM2024 – Keynote Speaker

We are pleased to announce that our CAWM2024 keynote speaker is Dr. TA Loeffler! 
As an outdoor educator and researcher at Memorial University in Newfoundland and Labrador, TA Loeffler PhD brings 35 years of expertise leading people through significant life-changing experiences to every facet of her work. TA’s research interests include women’s career development, the phenomenology of outdoor experiences, expeditionary living, and inclusive outdoor practice. TA’s work and outdoor expeditions have taken her to 52 different countries and all seven continents. TA has completed 6 and 4/5 of “The Seven Summits,” the highest peak on all seven continents. In 2020, TA was named to the “90 Greatest Canadian Explorers” List by Canadian Geographic.
